It's best to book you free tickets online beforehand. You don't even need to print them out, if you have them on your phone.
Make sure you get tickets on their website as early as possible, they release tickets a week prior, and they run out fast. If you missed it like I did, they have walk in hour at 10-11 in the morning. I went there at 9:30 and was allowed to go up right away. Amazing view and relaxing environment, best of all, it is free!
