"We had a fantastic stay at the Mitsui Garden. The hotel was spotless and felt brand new. The rooms were on the small side but well appointed. We really enjoyed the lounge seats and view from the top floor onsen. It was a convenient location with Omicho Market, the Castle grounds, and Korinbo area a short walk away. Really most of the sites around town are walkable from the hotel but using the excellent bus system allows you to save time. The JR station is not far but definitely a taxi ride if you have luggage. "

"Favorite hotel of our trip to Japan, wished we stayed longer! Loved the space, the kitchenette, the tatami room, and the spa bath! Some foreigners may not understand public bathing etiquette - for example, rinsing the shower stall clean and clear of soap suds for the next person and standing in the shower stall - there is a reason why each comes with a stool for you to sit.
