"Lots of good to say about this place. Lovely surroundings and truly quiet (could occasionally hear passing cars on the highway, but the cabin is a decent distance away and the amount of traffic is fairly light). Lots of walkable, even hikeable, areas on the property. Cozy furnishings, though dining room table is tiny, even for one person. Internet is decent - I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to work there (LAN connection) and stream, but not sure how that would go with more than one...

"Directions to the cabin was accurate. The check in process was easy. Greg is one kind host. He was walked us through the cabin and gave us ideas for places to go. We enjoyed talking to him. The cabin was very clean and the decor was fun to look at. The view with the big windows was amazing. It was just what we were looking for. It was fun to watch some of the wild life outside the cabin. It was nice to sit out on the deck and have a toddy at the end of the day. We highly recommend this place...

"If you like rustic and simple, the peacefulness of the country and being "off the grid" you are gonna Love this place! "Ive stayed here multiple times for trips to deadwood. Its a short drive from downtown deadwood here and considerably less money than anything else I could price out. Its always clean and the staff is nice. Could use updating but that doesnt bother me as Im not in the room much other than to sleep."
