"The road was long and windy to get there, but the welcome and beauty of the place vastly made up for it! The property is less than 30 minutes from the center of Santiago, located in a green valley. The main house dates from the early 18th century, with thick granite walls, and has been wonderfully restored with all modern comfort (including good wifi!). "This is a nice property in a very old building. As a result, it is not luxurious, but certainly adequate for a short stay. The living room and bed are in the same open area, fine for two people. The kitchen is adequate with a 4 burner stove, full refrigerator, washing machine, microwave. It is a short walk from the cathedral and everything else in the old town. I would recommend this property."

"A very old stone building very nicely renovated and modernized. Our room had small windows but the stone fireplace and old sink were gorgeous; the A/C worked great. We had the hotel breakfast one morning--it was fine, reasonable cost; but there are plenty of cafés nearby as well. Alda corp evidently runs several similar hotels in Santiago. "

"The hotel was lovely. The ground are well kept and the beds were extremely comfortable. FYI if you want to use the sauna it will cost you 12 euro."

"The hotel is beside the famous Mercado Abastos de Santiago and up a few stairs from the bus stop for the 6A bus that goes to and comes from the airport for one euro cash. There is a beautiful restaurant on the ground floor and cute and newly renovated rooms above. We had a double bed, washroom with bath and shower a Juliette balcony and a closed in balcony with chairs and a table, a safe and 3 part closet. The hotel was impeccably clean and the staff who were extremely helpful."
