Depends on the room they give you
This review is based on the room they provided us during our stay. The rooms in upper area are different from the rooms in the lower area. We have previously stayed in the upper area, wherein the rooms are good. This time, we were given rooms in the lower area. The rooms are small, but good enough for sleeping. The toilets do not have flush. You use a pail. No showers too. No toiletries. No hooks to hang your clothes and towel. No sink. Airconditioning works fine. Just be aware on what you get for a 1200 peso room. Cheap but do not expect a lot.

We booked a room good for 4. It advertises itself as having a kitchen but in reality, the hotel is setup as a house with 3-4 rooms with a common living room and kitchen, hostel style. Pros: 10 minute walk from Sta Cruz Plaza. Swimming pool facilities are clean and adequate for guests even during Holy Week. Aircon is comfortable. They have contact persons of tricycle/tuktuk drivers who can take you around the city. Wifi is provided Cons: Our room did not have a private bathroom and shower even if advertised as such. There was nobody to open the "house" gate when we stepped out at night for dinner. The cleanliness of the common plates and utensils are dependent on how the other guests clean them. Shower head and bathroom door lock is broken.
