We were allowed into the room very early which was of great use for us. The room had a handicap accessible bathroom which was excellent for me. Normally I don't request accessible bathrooms but this was available and it was very helpful. Slightly handicapped US individuals can find local facilities a problem but this helped greatly and was much appreciated.

This is very nice hotel, conveniently located a couple of blocks from George St and the so-called New Town. Rooms are in top condition, clean, my room had a jacuzzi. Very nice taste in decoration. Only two observations: the volume of water in the shower was really low and variable, as well as the temp (in a moment you passed from a trickle of cool water to a normal flow of very hot water. Also, the bed could have been softer.

We stayed for 2 nights in Milan--the room was spacious, clean and we loved the standalone tub for a relaxing bath at the end of the day. The bed was very comfortable. The location was amazing; right smack in the middle and walkable to everything. We wouldn't have been able to do so much in Edinburgh for a 2 night stay had it not been for the amazing location. There is an incredible amount of dining options near the hotel that is not "touristy". Would definitely stay again.
