Both my wife and I got food poisoning our first day. The staff is super inattentive to you for any of your needs but they sure are all over you when you first arrive to get you to sign up for time share services! Would not recommend it at all.

We had to upgrade after the first night due to the rooms being in poor condition. The property was beautiful and the beach was great. The pools were as expected. About 2 thirds of the staff was helpful and the other third didnt seem to want to be there. The food was the worst. We could only get into two restaurants that required reservations and they were not great either. It seems like Bavaro was the worst of the three properties on location to stay at. I would rate Bavaro a 3 star resort, and nothing on the property a 5 star.

Most of the staff is not friendly, but there are some that are the exception. As we first arrived here for a wedding the girl from front desk gave us the wrong room, when we walked in the room, there were people on the bed. She did not explain anything to us, the times of pools/restaurants, where we were staying, other amenities.. when we go back to tell her about the wrong room, she told us we were wrong and that we looked at the wrong place.. then I realized she gave me an envelope with one room number and inside the envelope there was another room number, and with a different name. She said the name didn’t matter and that I should’ve looked inside, with a smirk on her face the whole time. You have to wait for golf carts to move you from one place to another because some are far, but those golf carts come one every 15 minutes, our room key kept blocking itself and the walk back to the lobby was far, they also blamed us for putting it near our phone when we know better not to do that. While dining a cat bit my hand, i dont know why they allow cats inside a restaurant. They took 3 days to finally come clean our room but didn’t even restock the minibar, I only had bottled water on the first day.. Anyway, I was told I was going to be compensated for certain things but I never received anything. I only had fun because of the wedding and because we were here with friends, other than that I would’ve dreaded my stay here.

Property outdoor grounds are well maintained. Food isnt fresh. Property buildings arent renovated. They are old, in bad condition and dirty. All property pools are old and dirty. No elevators. And Jacuzzis arent functioning properly.
