Beautiful hotel and great location. My only issue was that we were there for 5 days and had to call to get our room tidied / cleaned because their in room cleaning definitely isn’t consistent, and the one time they did show up without us having to call it was at 8pm? Our kids were crawling into bed. For the price of the stay you would expect better in room care, but otherwise the service is fantastic. The valet people are amazing!

The hotel is super convenient for a tourist. It is right over the Metro and so you can go places easily. Parking is available under the hotel and not too expensive with validation. Rooms were clean and spacious. Interestingly, the hotel is only 2 floors or so on the 10th floor (where its lobby is). We had to walk up a flight of stairs to our room - this may be tough if you have heavy luggage. No one picks up the phone!!! I tried calling them outside the hotel and inside the hotel and could not get anyone to pick up. They charged for breakfast (which I willingly paid while booking), but apparently this is for the Executive Lounge and not the main breakfast area. This was okay, but I would like to have known this.

Hotel Monville was a lovely property and we loved the skyline views of Montreal from our hotel room. Very walkable to the Old Port and close to the place-d’armes metro and easily accessible by bus from the airport.

"We have tried several other hotels in Montreal, all pleasant, but Place d'Armes is our favorite. The rooms are generous and comfortable, the showers (or bath tubs) are wonderful, and the bed is comfy.
