The property was clean, beautiful upgrade and the entertainment was amazing. The staff however was very unkind to me i was embarrassed when i speak the native language they looked at me in disgust as if a Jamaican should not be a guest there only Americans! I immediately told my cousin who recommended me and she told me never to speak the Jamaican language because she too got mistreated! I was born in Jamaica and live in the USA. I am so shocked at how some of the staff treated me particularly in the restaurants and dining area! I went to the italian restaurant and the staff came up to me and my aunt and stared at us for like 30 seconds! I said do i need to give you something she said whats your room number. And then walked me to the table. So terrible! When i went to the beach i had one card for the towels because they ran out of cards and the towel lady refused to give me two towels one for me and my aunt she was so disrespectful. I kindly told her they ran out at the front desk and she was like oh do you want to listen to the message from the Ceo. At the bars when i speak and sound like an American they were sweet the minute i started talking in native language their faces changed. ! I didn’t know they will dislike their own kind. I visited grand palliadium hotel in Jamaica and never experienced that before. I would love for them to do intervention with the staff members about that. I booked double beds and was told i booked through expedia and they weren’t specific!
