Nicely situated. Bed was great and comfortable. Cosy and roomy. TV screen wifi fine. Service very hospitable and efficient. Shower was a bit lacking pressure but worked ok. Great for overnight. Outside park Light shining at night. Needed to cover with towel to get a good dark room for sleeping. 8/10

Thanks for a great stay, cosy clean room with a beautiful outlook onto green and some big trees. The grounds are a bit unkept but that didn't bother us - the place has a good vibe and was very peaceful despite being on the main road. We would be happy to return. Many thanks.

Carpet was sticky, insufficient cutlery for two people, the TV was in front of the mirror, just old overall and cost $193 which was a lot more than many of our other much nicer motels.

Acceptable accommodation. Showing its age, a bit dated and tired. No coffee plunger or plunger coffee which is the norm now in NZ. Service by staff was good as they found something in our unit after we left and rang to check it was ours (it wasn't but had been left by a previous occupier). Overall acceptable for a quiet weekend away.

Rooms are adequate though dated. The grounds need a lot of attention, would look wonderful if this was the case. Otherwise a pleasant stay - clean and tidy room.

Lots of permanent residents I was not expecting the police to turn up twice. The shower was mouldy but the air conditioning worked well. Would not book again!

Our stay at the Masterton motor lodge was okay, everything was good except for the pool didn’t look like it was cleaned, we stayed at the Suite(attic) and whenever someone was upstairs it was very annoying when the floor was squeaky also our shower the water took for ages to drain. But overall our stay was ok, checking in was fast and easy.

Cheap stay
Friendly staff. Hotel showing signs of age with alot of wear and tear. Rubbish bin, crockery and bathroom were not clean. Heating works well and good to have sky channels.
