Paid a premium rate for a luxury hotel without any of the premium or luxury associated with a $1,000/night room. When we arrived there was no one to greet/welcome or help us. We had to unload all our luggage from our taxi without any help from anyone. I can get that kind of non service for $100/night.
We were early to check in so they told us they would call when our room was ready. Around check in time I called them to get an update to our room, the operator could not get a hold of anyone from the front desk to get us an update on our room so she said they would call us back when someone was available (guess what we never got that call). So after a couple hours past check in we decided to just head back to the hotel anyways.
When we finally got the key to our room we literally had to step through a soaking wet hallway. I wish I could load a video to show how disgusting it was to walk to and from our room on our stay. The smell was disgusting. Every time we walked out our door or from the elevator on to our floor we got hit with the smells of a locker room. We had to cover our noses and hold our breathe. Just absolutely gross.
Anytime we needed a taxi we had to find one ourselves. The front door men just stood around, not acknowledging our existence or offering any kind of help.
What a absolute waste of money. Stay somewhere else unless you’re into over paying for really bad customer service and smelly, wet carpet is your thing
