I like to play at the poker table but hate when those who consider themselves as the greatest players be little those of us who don’t play regularly. Smoking isn’t too bad but sometimes there are times that it can be pretty bad. I know it is hard to control things. But overall had a great time.

Room was a bit dated, but we went with a room in the oldest tower. I did not know you have to tell them you want maid service or they don’t clean the room the whole stay. Other than that I’d stay at there again, and pay more attention at checkin.

The Carson Tower is just a room. No refrigerator, no Microwave, and no complimentary coffee Perhaps you get those if you pay for a more expensive tower. The Nugget has a $49.72 a day resort fee. You get 2 bottles of water per person for the stay. Access for 2 deivices on the internet. You can use the pool if you can get a chair. $50 a day rental over the weekend. We were told the pool is not part of the resort fee. In our tower the hallways need a good carpet shampoo. The room is large but sparse. One chair and a bed. Closet and chest of drawers and a small table. It is in need of a good update. There are no USB ports. The bathroom is old, but functional. The Golden Nugget used to be the class of downtown. Now it is very ordinary, but also very crowded. The casino is big and nice. The restaurants are plentiful and have great food. Special thanks to Vic and Anthony's for their speical treatment of our occasion. t

I've stayed here several times. I like the property but don't like how difficult it is to get a lounge chair at the pool. If you're not out there by 10, you're not getting a seat.

The Golden Nugget is a great place to stay. Fremont is a little unsavory with a lot of homeless bothering you as you try to gamble. Especially women. I did see many casino’s chasing them off their property but the GN was not as present or forceful. I was not comfortable sitting alone at the GN trying to gamble. I was approached multiple times if they didn’t see my husband. I won’t go alone anywhere when there. Sad to have this issue. Still a great place to stay but makes it less exciting to have to be with someone all the time.

Stayed multiple times at the Golden Nugget while visiting downtown due to the central location on Fremont Street. Hotel is very clean, pool is unique with the shark tank and Infinity pool. Room preference location is the Rush Tower. Thanks Golden Nugget for another pleasant stay in Vegas!

The woman at the desk in front of Starbucks was very rude when we asked for directions. The man that assisted us with the check-in was rushing and didn’t even make eye contact.

The room was gross. The bathroom was falling apart and the door looked someone kept a tiger in in the bathroom. Scratches, paint peeling. Tub was so dirty that I felt more dirty after I showered. I’ve been to the Nugget before and this is the last time. I’d rather spend my money on something cleaner and classier.

When I got to the room and went in, I noticed that someone else's stuff was in my room so it was kind of creepy. It was kind of a pain getting a new room cuz we had to move our stuff all the way to the end of another building. I just wished that I could have gotten some kind of compensation for my trouble like an upgraded room because the entire ordeal took a while just for me to finally get a room. I stayed there many years ago and it was lovely back then, it seems to have changed a bit in my opinion.
