Their systems were down checking in, the front desk receptionist was automatically rude and didn’t explain this until I had to ask questions to information she was demanding I write, so that took off a star. The room was underwhelming, I booked the high roller view and it wasn’t anything special. The bathroom door had a carving of a smiley face and the overall room had some deep scratches along the wall and furniture. WiFi was down for the day which also was annoying as the reception was terrible (I have Verizon). Wouldn’t stay again, not like how I remembered it during my last stay.

Our room smelled of smoke even though it was listed as non-smoking. There was also no soap or shampoo at all in the room when we arrived - not even hand soap to wash our hands. The bathroom had random holes in the wall and the vanity mirror was falling off the wall as it only had one screw, not 2. The back of the bathroom door looked like some art or wallpaper had been ripped off - there was just a sticky film left on it. Also, we paid extra for a strip view, but our particular room had a very limited view (we were in the "habitat" area). We could only see directly across the street - not north or south. The elevators also took a very long time and the key card scanner didn't work in half the elevators. For the positives - All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. It was a busy weekend in Vegas (EDC), so that was probably why the soap wasn't stocked. The grounds of the hotel are still very nice and the pool are is nice and seemed quite clean given how busy it was. Overall, we have stayed at the Flamingo a few times. When we were here 10 years ago the room we had was AMAZING, so we were pretty disappointed this time. Though we were loyal Flamingo guests due to the location on the strip and the price point compared to other nearby hotels, we will likely look for other options next time we visit Vegas.

We had an upgraded room but was still worn out and had damages. To be honest though regardless of the condition of the room, nothing beats Flamingos location on the strip. Very convenient! And the pool was beautiful but freezing cold water

The flamingo hotel is my all-time favorite hotel to stay in when I’m in Vegas anytime that I am able to book the room here for my trip. It makes it all worthwhile. From the casino, conveniently located within steps of your room to being able to see the strip and many wildlife enjoying the nightlife flamingo hotel is a great place to stay when you’re in Vegas and you’re ready to have loads of fun and gamble till you drop. 10/10

Great location, bathroom was in bad condition and the elevator system to scan your key card to click the floor never worked. It was a great location and the hotel is huuuuge. I would go again, just needs to fix the elevator system and the tap in the bathrooms

No water fountains, no water bottles allowed in the pool, and water is like $5 a bottle. I had to go to a convenience store around the corner to get water... but that ran out quick. Considering how hot it is and how many people are drinking alcohol... it's just humane to make sure people have access to free hydration. I noticed they had water fountains readily at Caesar's palace!

Rooms outdated found hair on pillow case & couch no hot water in morning for shower room was not serviced for cleaning! Had to change rooms because it smelled like cigarettes & furniture was old damaged! Bed in second room matress was sunken in no firmness! Paid over $1000 for 3 nights! Never Again!!!

Flamingo has a great location, however, the room we received had many issues. The vent in the bathroom didn't work. It just made this constant screeching noise. The shower head would drip and we were unable to fully shut it off. The sink faucet handle on was on its last leg and ready to fall off.

Arrived MN first room had a shower constantly running. Running not leaking. Dirty towels in shower blocking water from running out. Still had standing water behind toilet. No hot water on the sink and an outlet hanging out of the wall. Engineering came at 3am and said can’t fix it today. No room change offered. Next day called again no noted maintenance issue for the room had to come up again no fix demanded refund or room change hours on the phone and in person to get a room change and a 50 dollar food and beverage credit per the staff doing room change. The next room had a missing smoke detector and a toilet leak they fixed toilet leak so we stayed in that room. Come to checkout there was no 50 dollar credit I could not waste any more time arguing for the 50 dollars so nothing was compensated at all for wasting Hours of our trip and dealing with a full on water feature in the room on the first night of sleep.

Very limited in swimming pool options…. The only choices were an overcrowded very small “family“ pool or the GO pool… The whole extra part of the swimming pool with waterfalls and slides, which was supposed to be for family, was closed for no reason ☹️

Average hotel at a reasonable price. Convenient location opposite Caesars Palace and close to shops and restaurants. Large casino in house. No coffee or water in the room.Coffee shop in house is a Starbucks with a regular cifeee costing $7-8 (same as anywhere in Vegas!). Cleaners were supposed to come in daily but did not appear once in 3 days. Internet went down on day of checkout and it was total chaos!

Most staff was helpful but some gave confusing or wrong answers. Example: as I was leaving I asked a woman at the Caesar’s Club counter for directions to where I could pick up a city bus to the airport. She told me that there was no city bus, and that I would have to use the hotel’s shuttle. I then looked up bus routes on my own and found she gave me false information. A city bus (CX route) stops directly across Flamingo from the hotel.

My room was Dirty, with food on the Bed, urine on the toilet and the customer service management at the hotel were not very helpful. When I was checking in one of the customer members at the front desk said “I look left and I look right and all you hear are complains. Not sure what is happening with the flamingo hotel but the service was very bad and too many companions.

I stayed at this hotel about 40 years ago. It appears the rooms have not been renovated since then. The pool, which apparently is open to the public, is like being in a hip hop club or a rave. Loud beating music, no seats unless you pay extra, and unless you are 22 and drunk, you would rather take a beating than be there.

Overall, it served its purpose bring a place to sleep during EDC. It’s convenient to pretty much anything you’d need and has a fabulous pool. There are good dining options in and around the hotel and getting a ride share was easy. The downfall was definitely the slow response from housekeeping-we checked in to no soap in our bathroom and it took hours to get any. The room was spacious and overall good but we found crackers smooshed under the couch, which made me wonder how good they actually clean. It’s nice having a variety of stores to get essentials and liquor/wine onsite but of course you’ll pay a lot more than the nearby liquor store.
