Hotel is very dated, No quality ventilation and old carpets.
Staff is Amazing, one young concierge was exceptional. It seems it’s under new management, restaurant was closed and turned into a flee market (bad idea) retail stores and gift shop in lobby closed and full of old decorations.
Thai is a budget friendly hotel, with limited to no options of a great bygone era.
I hope they can bring it back !
But absolutely not with current management, they clearly do not have a clue.

DIRTY SHEETS AND ROACHES
This place is disgusting and way overpriced. The whole hotel reeks and smells musty. I know this is Florida but the other 6 hotels I’ve stayed at in Florida have never smelled like this. They give one singular sheet for your bed and on top of that, mine were stained with blotches and little black dots, the closet door was broken, the glass was cracked, but worst of all they had roaches in the bathroom that crawled behind the mirrors. I ended my stay early and was told that they’d get back to me with a refund but since then they have blocked my number and are an absolute scam.
When I arrived (for my reservation) there was a sign that said “be right back”; after waiting 20 min, I called a number that was taped to the wall. I left a voicemail saying I was at the front desk and there were others there too (2 others came after me). After another 15 minutes I called again and was sent straight to a full voicemail. Shortly after I received a text saying “what do you want?” So I responded I was trying to check in for my reservation. Another 10 min passed and a guy came down the elevator.
Believe me, had I not had a reservation I never would have tolerated; coupled with the town was booked up for state championships. The entire facility was gross, had mold everywhere, stains in the tub (so disgusting I wouldn’t even shower) and I was terrified I would end up with bedbugs from the whole feel of the place. I would strongly encourage you to not post this place on your website—you shouldn’t encourage anyone to stay here.

Thank you for the feedback!But we believe what you felt was not right and not true.
The online photos are not truly representative of what the actual building looks like. The building is old and not well kept. Upon my arrival, the chap at checking was also working as the handyman and his clothing was filthy.
During the night, my neighbor smoked in the bathroom and a trip to the bathroom was met with the choking, filthy odor of the cigarette smoke.
With a little effort, this hotel could become a wonderful in the area.
Property is run down, dirty, and in desperate need of repairs. 1st room had broken shower. Staff was kind about moving us to a different room. It was very inexpensive, so I know not much can be expected.

Pretty decent place for the money compared to other places around Lakeland. Older facility, but no issues with the room at all. Pretty large facility, and I may have been the only one staying there. Internet was slow and no real amenities at the hotel. No management or representative in the building between 10 PM and 10 AM. Was a very quiet place to stay.

Terrible place. There is no staff from about 10 AM to 4 PM. If you have a problem you are out of luck. Would never stay there again. Lobby looks like a storage room and the place looks like it is about to close down.
Humid smell, leaking bathtub, no ice machine, no drinikng water, falure to make the rooms, no staff to assist, parking full of garbage, no breakfast, the building needs to be redone.

407 visitors are crazy loud all night especially around 3am a guy was much upsetting whatever he was so loud and shouted many f words
That’s why I couldn’t sleep almost entire night
And hair dryer has broken when I turn on this it was almost caught fire
And stand lights are not work
So unfortunately totally it’s the worst in my experience
This place is simply a hotel in urgent need of a revamp, luckily it had operational elevators. Yet it was a last minute booking . Never again to this place unless a thorough overhaul is accomplished.
Key card did not work so they asked me to inform them when I would return to let me into room. Due to language barrier, there was extreme difficulty communicating with staff. There was no TV remote or phone in the room so had to use cell phone to call front desk which would not answer until the 3rd call. The pool was "temporarily" closed but looked like a bomb had hit it. Multiple stains on room carpet. Killed a baby roach in the bed. Experience was so unpleasant, I chose to leave without staying for second night.

Checking in took about 30 minutes. They couldn’t find anyone reservation- I booked two nights and when we had came back to my room after a long day, the key no longer worked because they only booked us for one night. Luckily someone was at the desk and fixed it in no time. We had a couple of roaches in our room, other than that we slept pretty soundly and no one bothered us.
Property has no upkeep. Outdated and broken. Tons of trash everywhere, made it seem unsafe. Microwave in room didn't work, elevators didn't work half the time, and they had to fix the lock on my door because the key wouldn't work.
Well, this was THE definition of a dingy hotel. I don't think I have stayed a worse hotels and I travelled the 3rd world a lot.
It looks like the last upgrade was done in the early 1990s judging by the style of carpet and furniture. Where do I start?
-dead roaches in the hallway
-worse stained hallway carpet ever
-dried vomit in the corner in hallway
-damaged wall corners in hallway and elevator lobby
-dirty carpet in room, you dont want to take off your shoes
- the pull-out couch mattress was detached from the frame and had 2 large brown stains on it
the spring frame for the pull-out bed had so many missing springs that the mattress would just slump out of it, had to put it on the floor instead
-shower had stains and mold.
-no breakfast options whatsoever besides a coffee maker in the room
- the good: toilet was clean, bed sheets were clean, AC worked.
Not much security. Homeless person with cart in building. No Kleenex even available. Toilet tank wouldn’t not fill, could not use. Manager is AWOL. No one knows where she is. A very musty property. Do not stay here.
Older Hotel than we thought. Check in took 40 minutes. Then the room they gave had a fire alarm beeping and window facing the run down parking garage. Moved two more times. Then room key kept not working. Only one lightbulb in bedroom area was working. phone in original room, no dil tone?
