Unfortunately we did not have a very good experience and I think our expectations were set high because of the good reviews and the high price. Number one, the staff speaks little to no English. We had the cottage room and the air conditioner did not work very well. The food was not very good. In fact, we decided to cancel our breakfast because it was not worth it to us. Of course the receptionist could not understand us so we ignored the phone calls to our room. We ended up leaving a day early because it was not worth for us to waste a day in Japan here. We explained to the receptionist that we were leaving early, paid for our extra fees for drinks... but again the communication was not there. I liked their onsen but it was unfortunate that there were many loud chinese tourists who did not follow proper manners. It was not relaxing. I wish there was an attendant to make sure guests are following rules.
