"One of the best places to stay. The resort retains the old Kerala vibe although providing all the modern amenities one requires for a comfortable stay. The staff is courteous, warm and responsive. Their breakfast spread is nice. It’s worth the money spent. "

Property condition felt a little dated and dining options were few and expensive, esp given the indoor option was very small and the hotel has no spirits licence (so only beer and wine available) "

"We were very impressed with our 4 days at The Zuri Kumarakom. We were surprised to be told that the property is about 25 years old, because it's superb maintenance suggested a much younger age to us. As we rode into the property, we were a bit shocked to see a lot of policemen around. And that turned into panic when they accosted our taxi cab at the hotel porch. "We had the double superior sea view. The view plus the sound of the waves was fabulous and unforgettable. The room was ok housekeeping poor, breakfast was good and meals served in the restaurant were good and reasonable priced, Beer as in all Kerala was extortionate 250 IR a kingfisher."
