I was told when I booked our room that we would have a place to park our car and that in was included in the price of our stay. However, that was not the case. We had to park in a parking garage about 4 blocks away and pay $20/night for parking and that was not in and out parking. So that cost added up quite quickly the five nights we were there. We then had issues with our room the first night where the a/c would not shut off and room was VERY cold, so after several phone calls, they switched us to another room at 1am... they did give us complinary breakfast for the inconvenience, but feel they should have given us that for the whole week to make up moving rooms. Then when we got into the new room - getting ready to go to bed and step in somehting wet along side the bed....they had to replace the carpet squares next to the bed. They had five elevators, only two worked when we first got there and were down to "one" by the time we left. We were on the 16th floor, sooooo, it was a long wait and ride each time. They did end up comping one night stay which was much appreciated. However, feel some issues should have been addressed in the begenning rather than later. I feel i should have been compensated for the parking as I was told that was included. So now I'm out $100 for that.... Everyone that works here is VERY polite and courteous and the hotel is beautiful and very clean! I think we just experienced some BAD luck. Wrong place, wrong time!
