"This little cabin is exactly what we were hoping for! Secluded, great covered patios in front and back, and back patio is so relaxing! Hummingbird feeder, bird feeders and birdbath all get a lot of activity, plus a great view of the deer, turkeys and hogs when they come out to eat. This place had everything we needed…charcoal grill, cookware, coffee, etc. very clean as well. Buddy the cat was great company too! Definitely would come back!"

"Monarc Ranch is a lovely, quiet place to stay. It is located conveniently to the vineyards and Fredricksburg. The house is quaint and comfortable. "I booked our stay at Monarc Ranch for the April 8 eclipse, when we had a problem with our previous booking. We stayed for 2 nights for a family of 4 (including our 5 and 3 year old boys). Despite the cloudy weather affecting our eclipse viewing, everything about the lodging was outstanding. "Overall, stay was phenomenal, staff was accommodating and friendly. Hotel offerings included a welcome beverage, a free happy hour beverage, free coffee from the cafe in the morning. Option to not have your room cleaned for credit on your stay. As well as a $10 food & Bev credit per day. There is construction in the area but they provide noise cancelling machines and earplugs but we only turned the machine on once so wasn’t bad at all. Really great vibe going on around the hotel with Rainy street right around the corner and there are a lot of things to walk to. We are already looking forward to staying here again!"
