I was sexually harassed by a member of staff at this hotel! Do not go here! I was a young woman travelling alone. I paid the extortionate price for a room in this hotel as I thought it would help guarantee some degree of safety. I was very wrong. I called to book a massage only to be sent to a room (very very suspicious). I felt really cut off from the rest of the hotel. The man that was massaging me began to touch me sexually, removing my underwear. He would not stop when I asked again and again. Disgusting and terrible do not send your daughters here do not allow your female family members to book this hotel. For reference this was in 2018. I was staying in a suite.

Nice pool, great breakfast. Bathroom and tub nice and big. Front Door did not have consistent staffing, bar had no mint in a town famous for the mojito, welcome drink was non-alcoholic. 2 room phones didn’t work. WiFi required constant signing in again.

A super stay but service is lacking
Great location, super comfortable room, quiet and a well stocked bathroom (and great water pressure and temp).Rooftop pool area was lovely (albeit the pool was excruciatingly cold). Service was indifferent at best (especially an underwhelming check in and check out).

Great stay and location! Very central to all Old Habana. Staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was also very good. French press coffee was exemplary. Would recommend and would stay again!

We loved the friendly and helpful staff, the smaller size of the hotel, an understated elegance and maturity of the building and its decor, and the location was perfect in that it was out of the fray, with fabulous views. The pool on the roof, an oasis.

Recommended hotel
very good hotel, lovely staff, excellent location, beautiful building, wonderful city. Although the room rate seems expensive, it is worth it as the hotel is very good.

Comfortable stay!
Amazing hotel! Have a classic taste but everything is convenient and well maintained. Location is great. Beautiful sunset view from The rooftop pool. Amenities were great as well, complimentary water, wifi was good too. Just the drainage of the shower booth wasn’t good. Everything else was awesome!

Disappointing Hotel Saratoga
The Saratoga is very tired. Water luke warm. We arrived at 4.30pm and room not ready. When we got into the room the smell of damp was just awful and could not be fixed. But position of hotel in the center of Havana is perfect. Bed was fine but with a waterproof undershoot which crackled. Poor service and one of the elevators not working. Definitely way over priced for $390.00 for what was a two star experience

I liked the staff. Everything was clean. Air conditioning worked great. Shower didn’t have great power and wasn’t always as hot as I like. Good at hotel was fine.

Great Hotel. 5 star all the way.
What a Beautiful hotel. It’s centrally located. Walking to just about everywhere. Beautiful view of the capital building. The staff was great. Very accommodating, accept for the woman that worked the overnight shift at the front desk. She is an angry person and the least bit helpful. The bar area is beautiful. Drinks were inexpensive. Great bar bite menu. Food was great. My stay was everything I wanted it to be plus some. The room was gorgeous. High ceilings, floor to ceiling plantation shutters. I felt like I was in the 50’s. It was super cool and authentic to Cuban decor. Very clean. I can’t wait to go back.

Comfortable bed, bathroom tiles needs more improvement. Closet doors wont close. Its an ok Hotel but what disappointed me & my husband is that when we are checking out. They inspected the fridge and the maid said that the small white wine bottle was opened and was half full. Me & my husband definitely did not drink that wine. Someone did but not us... I could just remember that we requested that we will be late checkout at around 1 pm instead of 12 noon not sure if the maid is not happy about that but the receptionist gave us permission to do later check out (only 1 hour). Anyway... they insisted that the wine was halfway. I will not pay for something we did not do. I was very unhappy with the checkout and being accused. Something shady on that Hotel. They need to investigate who's been doing this. Otherwise a pleasant stay very close to everything.

Good location
The location was central with everything within walking distance. The hotel staff were friendly. The breakfast was good. The facilities perhaps not 5* but acceptable given location. Also perhaps rather expensive for what you got.

Safe but faded grandeur
The Saratoga is OK, Government run place - I think it is faded but the staff try hard and that makes up for a lot. There are now better options in Havana. The views are very cool view over the capitol building
