Location is excellent right across from Asaichi. The room with three beds we stayed had a nice view of the ocean from the bedroom and bathtub, washing machine with dryer, refrigerator, microwave, extra sink with simple cooking utensils. The onsen spa on the top floor is a nice addition to the stay. The view from the 17th floor spa and 16th floor bar was beautiful. Overall very clean and pleasant stay.

Found the room to be very dusty. Communicated with the staff about the issue. He is very apologetic and helpful. He shifted us to another room. However the room is slightly better but not much.

Modern, clean property. The staff were very hospitable, attentive and helpful at all times! The amenities in the reception lobby, including a coffee and beverage machine were added pluses. The hotel is a bit difficult to locate because signage to the main entrance from the street level isn’t very clear to taxi drivers. The second level entrance may be less confusing when walking around the area. A small Lawson’s market and Tully’s coffee shop is just around the corner at the second level.

We opted for a corner room so had sufficient space for two people. The Harbour view from the room was very nice. The fridge/freezer, microwave and hot plate were convenient. The onsen is fantastic, outdoors with a beautiful view over the Harbour. The cleaning service is a bit odd. We stayed for three nights and could exchange our towels and pajamas for free daily but had to pay to have the room refreshed by housekeeping. The hotel is a short walk from the train station to go up to the parks, no issue with bags. It's about a 10 minute walk to the red brick Harbourfront area. Overall would stay again for the Onsen.

Minutes from Station and Morning Market. Nice 10 minute walk to Red Brick shopping, and another 10 minutes to the Old Public Hall, the Ropeway. Room was clean, and larger than normal Japanese hotel. Enjoyed onsen on 18th floor which had an outdoor option.

Very nice hotel, the open air bath was wonderful. The washing machine was just ok, but I think any washer and dryer machines are all like this. There is also a fish market next to the hotel, lots of fish eats nearby.

Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. We loved the location, the ease of access to public transport and Hakodate highlights, and of course… the amazing onsen bath on the 18th floor. My husband and I made sure to make the most it by using it every morning and evening during our 4 night stay. The views from both baths were beautiful both day and night, they rotate the baths at 1am so you get to experience both the ocean and city side views.

The staff are very inconsiderate since we came early. What’s the difference of 30 minutes checking in They’d rather see you sitting in lobby waiting sleeping very tired until the time you have to check in. And if you want to ask for toilet paper, you should go downstairs to the front desk to ask for it since and they want delivered to your room

The room had a whimsical feel and was super spacious and comfortable. Loved that we had our own washroom and dryer, small kitchen, and the fridge had a freezer. Would definitely come back to stay here again if we come back to Hakodate!

Right beside the Morning Market and JR Hakodate, close to everything. Parking space is ample too if you are driving. Room was a bit small but clean and neat. Staff at the front desk was friendly.

I love everything about the hotel. It cover all that I need and more than I can expect. The washing machine n dryer including the shoes drying in the room is life saver

Vary nice hotel, stuffs are helpful and very polite, great location only few minutes from JR station. You can walk to many attractions. The lounge has a great view of the bay same as the hot tub on the top floor. The hot tub has indoor and outdoor tubs. Such a pleasant spot to relax. Free Coffees in the lounge are very good as well. The only thing is the bathroom has the mildew smells which also found it in The hotel that we stayed in Tokyo. Otherwise everything else is good.

Easily one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. Rooms are quite large in Japanese standards and are also very well equipped. We even had a washing machine with drying function in the room to our surprise. It is also conveniently located next to the Hakodate morning market and Hakodate station.

Washer/Dryer in room definitely is welcomed by travellers esp for those who stays in Japan or Hokkaido for weeks, microwave is another convenience for guests. Onsen is great but it will be perfect if we don't have to bring in towels from the room.

It seems that staffs in this hotel are not well trained. Some of them really doesn't understand English. When I checked in with a 1.5 year old baby and five luggages, no one offered any help. I have to ask for a luggage cart. Then the staff just pull out an empty cart and left immediately. I left my room key in the room one day and had to ask front desk for a key card. After long wait, the staff gave me a parking pass! I had to explain again and again that I need a room key.
