Old installation cuases bad odors (mold) and makes lots od noisy in the night some concerts (soundproof was not funtional since it is old building)

This Hotel have an amazing swimming pool, great security control, the rooms are very large, with all the amenities of a five star resort in the USA and is conveniently located close to the airport, shopping centers and night clubs. I highly recommend this hotel!
El servicio pesimo, llegue con mi esposa y me vinieron a cobrar 100 dolares mas porque mi habitacion matrimonial solo indicaba para una persona, NUNCA en la vida me ha pasado eso en nignun hotel del mundo

I stayed at Hilton Colon and loved everything about it. Prices are up there but the property was clean, really nice looking. The pool area was clean and was quiet. They have a hot tub. They also have a gorgeous dining area. I had the brunch buffet and it’s a must. I had everything and loved every bit of it. I also went for dinner and had the ceviche and plátanos rellenos and again it was all delicious and all tasted fresh. Definitely recommend staying here. I’ll be back for sure.

Nos toco una habitación súper amplia y cómoda. El personal del hotel no es muy servicial. Hace lo justo y necesario. Por ser uno de los mejores hoteles de Guayaquil esperábamos un poco más en servicio. La calidad de la comida ha bajado bastante.

I stayed for 4 nights, and though the hotel is comfortable and has many amenities, I found their prices to be quite overpriced compared to what you can get in the area. The buffet breakfast was not included with my room and cost $30! Service was great apart from the restaurant, where you have to track down waitstaff to get their attention. Very nice pool and spa.
Excellent property, nice variety of restaurants in site. Very convenient location and amazing building security. The pool was nice and the rooms updated and very clean.
Complimentary van transport to the airport was very convenient for travel. The drivers were terrific, punctual and courteous.

The hotel smell so bad, in the hallways and the room. A very nice person Daniel, changed my room, but all the hotel smell humidity. No good with people with allergies problems.

From the airport pick-up (which was over an hour late) to the ants in the room and attempt to charge us an extra $120 for breakfast (when we'd already paid in the room rate) the whole experience was terrible - we have travelled the world and stayed in 100's of hotels but this was hands down THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

The rooms and hallways smell like mold. I had visited this hotel Pre-Covid and it had that mold smell. I gave it a another try hoping it was temporary and fixed. But sadly, its still going strong. There is no "third time is the charm", for me...
