Absolutely horrible, dirty and unsafe location. Half the lights didnt work, there was no bedding aside from a sheet. The smoke detector kept going off because it needed new batteries but the manager did not understand enough English to help fix it. Dont stay here

I can say that our room was clean but outside was very shady. Many closed down hotels and restaurants as well as many feral cats toamimg the property. Slept with one eye open.

It was ok
It was ok I like the fact that it had a microwave and fridge coming from California a lot of hotels don’t have that. The clerk mentioned that we better keep the room clean I thought that was a bit weird. Aside from that I had a nice time for what I paid.

Night before eclipse.
We had a reservation that was not honored. Unfortunately for me and my family with kids there were no tooms available anywhere within a 5 hrs drive. We were forced to sleep in our vehicle in 30°weather the night before the eclipse.

I got charged 101.85 from expedia for your hotel relocation. I dont understand why you are sleeping in your car. I lost money from your reservation but we took the responsibility to pay for the relocation. Thank you and have a great day.

Back stairs to second floor should be condemned. Wood was warped splintered and old !! Old disgusting carpet. Needs major repairs. Wouldn’t even give one star.

Based on the motel's photos showing an inviting full pool, I booked a 3 day stay in August. On arriving, it appeared that the pool had been covered and closed for the entire season-- or maybe years. What could be seen from the fence looked completely deteriorated. Most of the motel is closed (condemned? about to be torn down?) and only a small section of the motel had a few guests crowded into it-- the parking lot was very deteriorated, like gravel, and it was difficult to park. The room itself was aging/average at best; and the door was almost impossible to open (had to have another guest help me, twice, and they had the same problem). Refrigerator made loud noises all night. Worst of all, I asked that evening if I could cancel my other 2 nights, they said sure, just do it at check out in the morning. At 7 a.m. I checked out, was told I'd have to email the manager to request a refund. The refund was denied, said it was in the (presumable fine print) in the Orbitz booking. Also tried to get refunded the last 2 nights through Orbitz, a process that took 2 months, and was again denied. Turns out one could only cancel a day BEFORE arriving. Buyer beware! Based on this unpleasant experience I've completely lost faith in Orbitz and will not use them again.

The other building is closed due due one of our guest hit the post and created more cracks on all the posts. We are working very hard to find a structural engineer to come in Gallup so that we can start the repair. Staff placed us on the very backside of the property which was dark (no lighting in the parking lot area) and therefore made me uncomfortable to leave me car parked out there. I was up all night checking on my car. Not to mention every drunk throwing a party there was placed in the same area. If I want concerned about my car, I sure would not have slept regardless due to all the noise. Well not stay here again.

Wyndham is now ghetto
Wyndham just slapping their name on anything these days. This hotel was dirty upon arrival. The staff refused to clean the room during the week due to ‘Covid’ ridiculous excuse and the breakfast was gross. Very disappointed

Roulette Stay
It was noisy from the trains going by throughout the night. The beds were very well worn & squeaky, mattresses was uncomfortable. A leaky bathroom faucet, no worries about a drought ,bathroom door doesn't not shut at all, gaps around the main entry doorway. Dangerously overhang has a visible crack waiting to dislodge over Rm 101 someday and yellow caution tape on the otherside of Rm 112 & above.

If you love trains while you sleep...
Right next to train tracks that stay busy all night including horns - avoid. Also requires a $50 deposit and annoying process to get it back. Would not recommend.
