The hotel environment is absolutely extraordinary! Staff are nice and warm. The 2 included meals are delicious. The location is not at a convenient spot however there are shuttle services. If there is any imperfection, I would say the breakfast cafe seems a bit too crowded. I mean, the table arrangement is quite busy

The hotel was decent, but their pricing is too high – in my opinion – for what they offer. We booked one of the rooms with the futon-style beds. The room and bathroom were very clean, however there was a musty smell in the hallways. Additionally, the bathroom was rather outdated and old. Breakfast was included, which was a nice buffet-style breakfast. The utensils were clean and the food was good, with nice variety. We opted to also have their traditional dinner included. Dinner was decent, but lacked flavour (perhaps that's how traditional Japanese food is?). Their rooftop onsen was also nice, as well as the garden in the back. The general view that one gets from the place is really spectacular (you get an awesome view of Mount Fuji). The location is really picturesque. Overall, a nice place to be – but only truly worth the stay if their pricing was much lower. Their cheapest option is at least CAD $290 per person, per night (assuming 2 people are splitting the cost of one room). This is simply far too expensive for the overall experience and facilities that they offer. I've stayed at much more luxurious hotels for about CAD $50 less (per person, per night, assuming 2 people are sharing).

Amazing, the best place I have stayed EVER. The cost of the stay is worth the value. The check-in was seamless, the staff was so friendly and amicable. The souvenir shop gifts were diverse and unique. The dinner, breakfast and drum show was top-notch. The onsens were huge and gorgeous. The hotel is HUGE, I felt at times I had the hotel to myself at times. I would recommend this place to everyone visiting Mt. Fuji

Great stay! The staff are all so lovely and there are so many activities to enjoy. It was quite rainy for our Fuji stay so we spent a lot of time in the hotel and there was always something to do. The best hotel we’ve stayed at in Japan so far and one of my favourite hotels ever.

We only stayed for one night but wished we had skipped some other cities and stayed here for longer. It was so relaxing. The hot foot bath in the Japanese garden was wonderful. Staff were exceptional. Room was large and bathtub was out of this world. Would definitely recommend.

My worst nightmare of staying at a hotel is having either having bed bugs or cockroach and it became a reality on the second night. Around 1am, as I was reading in bed, I saw a cockroach running across my pillow. Needless to say, I screamed and jumped off the bed so fast that I almost fell over. The roach kept going in and out underneath both mine and my daughter’s bed. Hotel staff came up and killed it but we couldn’t sleep a wink the rest of the night. We didn’t dare turn off the lights and we were on a watch the entire night of our surroundings because when you see an indoor cockroach, you know there are many others hiding in the dark. Hotel gave me compensation of around $340 which is not enough since we paid $3000 for 2 nights for 4 people. Due to language barrier, we couldn’t discuss the compensation in detail but I think they only compensated me when it should have been for 2 people. Both my daughter and I were too tired to enjoy the rest of our trip in Osaka afterwards. We are both completely traumatized by this incident and still having nightmares. If it wasn’t for that issue, I think we’d of had pleasant stay overall. Staff members were polite and respectful and we had a beautiful view of Mnt Fuji.

Nice hotel for everything. We did not see the Fuji Mountain from rooftop Onsen but it was a great experience. Dinner is spectacular with a wide variety of food. Hope we can come back again. Recommended.

This was a splurge, but we wanted a private open air bath with a Mount Fuji view. There were a lot of options at booking, and I'd heed anyone to research very carefully before choosing. We chose the Yuraku Luxury Japanese Style Room, but didn't realize that these were only on Floors 1 to 3. When we were brought to our room on the 2nd floor, it was instantly disappointing. Our Mount Fuji view was a flimsy technicality; you could see a sliver if you leaned a certain direction at the window. If it was listed as a partial view, it would have been accurate, but calling it a Mount Fuji view was a stretch, just like what you'd have to do to see it from the room. After lots of discussion with the staff, they were able to relocate us to the 3rd floor -- an improvement, but still didn't live up to our imagination of what it'd be based on the photos. (Also, since we went in the winter, we'd basically lost precious time to actually see Mount Fuji on a cloudless day.) For anyone looking to book for the same reason, I'd suggest the Sanri western style rooms with open air baths instead, which cost a little more but are on Floors 6 to 9, I believe. I'd also use Street View to get a better sense of the view you'd be getting, since the building actually doesn't face Mount Fuji directly, so there's a limit to how good the view can be anyway. If I were to do it again, I'd book somewhere that met all my requirements.

I really liked the traditional japanese interior design and the location of the property. roof top onsen providing you perfect view of mount fuji, food is great, very nice zenn garden for you to take a relaxing walk, and enjoy the foot bath within the garden. Very nice in suite private onsen as well!
