I chose this hotel to be at a walking distance from downtown based on the good reviews for cleanliness, but the room was not really well kept, you could see stains on the carpet and the walls, one of the bed covers had stains, and the bathroom you could see some part of “pink” behind the zinc. The phone in the room had most of the buttons of the numbers missing which also made me notice it was dirty, usually I would not notice the phone but we only had 2 towels in the room and I had make a reservation for 4, so we had to call to get more towels, we never got them so I had to go get them. The general premises are not really bad, there were some little critters in the room and throughout the hotel, but no roaches. The pool area and the sitting area look pleasant but some people were smoking. Staff seem friendly during the little interaction I had with them with them. There seems to be some kind of construction going on which cause it to be noisy the first morning we were there. I knew the property was going to be on the old side based on the reviews, which I don’t mind as long as they are clean. There was plenty of parking, which was nice. The dining area is small, I did not care for the breakfast, but is nice that they do offer free breakfast. Overall, if you are just going to sleep and shower, and you don’t mind the little details, then is doable, but I cannot say I was confortable. We book 2 nights with a non-refundable fee, so we spend most of our time away from the hotel.
