"This place was perfect for us. We came for the eclipse and stayed for Arkansas. The property is exactly as described, a charming farmhouse with some great parks nearby. "I booked this place as a surprise anniversary get away. We loved our stay here. We enjoyed staying in watching The Lord of the Rings right next to the beautiful hobbit door! We also enjoyed venturing out to some great State Parks: Less than 10 minutes from Lake Dardanelle and about 45 min from Petit Jean. The Hobbit House also seemed like it would be a great getaway for a family or friends who love Tolkien. Kitchen is great if you want to cook your own meals and the couches and bed are comfy....

"Me and my wife were looking for a nice weekend getaway. And found Gwen and Bear’s Cabin listed. The Cabin is right down the mountain from Petit Jean State Park. Which was exactly what we were looking for! The privacy of the cabin and the woods and small stream next to the cabin were also great! All around was an awesome experience and we will definitely be booking again!"
