One night stay
The hotel is in a great position. Close to the port, the Rambla and the beach area. We only stayed for one night and really only slept at the hotel. They were happy to look after our luggage before we checked in. Everything was good, the staff were very friendly. Hotel is probably a little dated compared to some.

Lovely as always. Amazing view, lovely staff, fab breakfast. Let down by appalling wifi in the room.

Not a 4 star hotel. More like a 2 star. Beds are furnished with very poor quality pillows and mattress. No air condition was extremely hot. Receiption told me to keep the door open but was extremely noisy. Will not be back again.

What often differntiates a good hotel experience from a poor one, is the level of service provided. The Gran is not so grand. We asked to check in early and were told that it is at 2pm, we asked for a room with one bed, but were given two, we asked for a higher floor and were not given one. While these are relatively minor issues, they are symptomatic of a hotel that does not treat their customers well.

I have stayed at this hotel before. It is right at the junction of downtown and the coast. On several bus lines (I needed to catch a bus to the university). The room is nothing fancy but the balcony facing the sea is very nice. Common spaces are spectacular. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The furniture in the rooms are old but the room overall is clean. There are rooms with small windows which are at the same category with the large ones. The staff is polite and helpfull, especially the ones at the restaurant.

Good central choice. Not expensive
Balcony rooms always available. Breakfast starts a bit late for early travellers. Great shower.

Nice rooms, nice pool, no one was ever behind the bar counter for snacks/drinks during the day. Overall a good experience and a great price. Excellent location.

Brilliant location, very clean , staff especially Roberto on the check in desk were excellent. Very good quality bed linen and towels and changed every day. Lovely view from the balcony over the port towards the beach. Only downside was the Wi Fi didn't work for us, but certainly didn't spoil our holiday.

Convenient location, terrible WiFi in our room
The location of this hotel was very convenient and our room was nice- the bathroom had a tub, which isn’t always the case in Europe. The staff was helpful with getting us taxis when we needed them. The beach was about a 10min walk away and really pretty. The airport was about a 15min taxi ride. Our room was at the end of a hallway (112) and barely had a WiFi connection. We spent some time sitting in the hallway on a couch near the elevators to use the WiFi and there it worked much, much better. We liked that we had a balcony and the price per night was a good deal.

the day we arrived we found blood in my bed we comply and no one come until the next day our holiday was ruin to fund blood in the new bed and no take action i had to sleep on the floor that night

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. We were told upon arriving that we would have to wait an hour for a room, however the hotel stored our bags for us to make it easier to explore the town for an hour before returing to check in properly. The room was lovely standard with a balcony and view of the port and sea. Very spacious with comfy beds and adequate cupboard space. I would recommend

Great hotel and great value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly Mohamed, who organises the breakfast buffet and bar. The breakfasts are fantastic! Highly recommended.

Nicely situated hotel at the edge of old town and new town. Just about 5 mins walk from attractions and places to eat and drink. Nice ambience and comfortable room. Also, I believe all the rooms have the sea view, though the seafront is mostly just port, but still nice. Friendly staff, but maybe they could smile a bit more and be more descriptive about how to get up to the room. It was confusing the first time around.

When we arrived the receptionist keep asking us for a check in voucher .so we had to walk three miles to get are mobile phones as we left then in the car .when we came back she said we had to forward are booking to the hotel .she was not helpful at all and very understandingood. The hotel is in a great situation and every other service was fine except when we checked in .kind regards simon .

We thought that tea/coffee making facilities were available in the rooms but this is not so - also the shower gel bottle had not been checked - it was empty. These are our only small complaints - everything else was fine.

No parking on arrival, directed to nearby paid parking. It's a dated 4* hotel, that is clean. The wifi was good, staff were friendly and helpful, particularly when one of our group tripped, fell, suffered nose bleed and consequent pain in forehead. Attractions were within walking distance. It was disappointing that the room's safe was not provided as a normal amenity. The Hotel asked for 4.50 euros daily for its use.
