" Very pretty and modern looking hotel within a 5 min walk to the village. Pool and surrounding seating was very pretty, and the free drink upon arrival was appreciated. Pool water a tad chilly (it was May), but I still swam. Room was spacious enough and had nice colours and comfy bed. I did seem to experience a leak in my bath/shower that left a small pool of water on the floor each time (rm 215), but it wasn’t a big deal for me. Staff all very friendly and the breakfasts were very enjoyable...

The hotel staff was phenomenal, I can’t express how sad we were to leave because we felt like we got to see and talk to them a lot and became quite close. Everyone was so friendly and sweet and helpful. Loved how close the bus stop was and easy it was to get to the town and back. We can’t wait to come back and will be telling everyone about the hotel!"

"Honeymoon suite was a dream, large pool on the balcony with the view of the beach and ocean. Not very private room as there are rooms right above that can see your whole balcony and pool. Included breakfast was a great way to start the day exploring. Front desk was very helpful along with housekeeping staff"

"Vencia is a small hotel that is close to old town but set aside enough to make it a more quiet stay. The setting and overall condition of the hotel is great. Staff and service throughout were excellent. The room is spacious and in good condition with some unique and less desirable aspects. We are not fans of the design where doors to toilet are frosted glass (decreasing privacy) and the sink is in the main part of the sleeping area (and drain water can sometimes smell). Perhaps this design was...

"This hotel is spectacular. They give top notch service, and the facilities are fantastic. Gorgeous decor, amazing views. The best was that I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They arranged for airport transfers, ferry transfers, and other transportation wherever I wanted to go, and I could charge to the room, so no need to worry about cash to get around. It makes vacationing that much better/easier. "

"Just got back from a 5 night stay. Excellent hotel with lovely rooms, pool and views. Staff were lovely and a special mention to Alexander at reception and the guy who was doing the breakfasts. I would say the grounds where the hotel sits is not the best, no shops or convenience near. Also at the top of a very steep hill, really only accessible by car which I am very glad we hired. Pool area is lovely with the focus being the view. Overall a lovely break and would recommend. "
