"The staff goes really out of their way for their guests. We missed the last shuttle of the day from the train station to the hotel. We decided to walk, since we also missed the last bus. When we were walking, a van pulls over to the side of the road: it was the shuttle, which was sent out to get us, without us even asking! The amount and quality of the food served is incredible! Plenty of variety, with everything plated and served by incredibly polite and attentive staff. "

"This was a great place to stay for our family of 4. The amenities were plentiful. Very clean. I would definitely stay here again and stay at other locations offered by Rakuten STAYs. The only trouble we had was the parking. The parking information needs to be more detailed in the check in process before guests arrive.... someone had already parked in our spot number before we arrived. It was clear to us that we were supposed to only park in our assigned number, but I suppose others need it explained to them CLEARLY before they arrive to avoid issues for other guests. Other than that, it was great! "

"This is a great and luxurious property. We had a two story apartment with the garage. Very modern, convenient and fully stocked with necessities. I especially enjoyed a balcony with the tub to enjoy the bath outdoors with mountain views, very luxurious! The beds were wet clean and comfortable, the projector tvs in the bedrooms were awesome. Truly a wonderful experience. The location does require a car if visiting Nikko, otherwise one could walk to local dining options, yet during our stayI may many were closed by 7. Highly recommend this property!!!"
