"This was perfect for traveling with kids. The room was large, there was a public and private bath. Staff were great with my toddler and there are kids areas and free snacks for them, while it's also in walking distance to other things in Gora. I would stay again. "

"This is a true"little (Japanese) hut in the mountains" with great onzen experience! You just have to embrace the whole experience. If you do, this is definitely 5 stars! If not, maybe look for a more westernized hotel instead. Just one caution, this mountain resort is up on a winding mountain road around .5-1km from bus stop "sengyoro mae". If you have heavy luggage, it's worth using baggage service at Hakone Yumoto station. I hauled it up the hard way and that was a sauna experience in itself,...

"We had the best experience, started as soon as we arrived at the hotel until we left. Food was great, had a private hot spring room everyday. Initially we were concerned about convenience of transportation. Hotel stuff sent and picked us up from nearby places and bus stops. The only less than perfect thing is the weather, raining everyday during our stay. But it gives the perfect reason and motivation to come back. Will be our first choice next time when booking hotel in Haneda. "

"The room we stayed in was a traditional style Japanese room where we slept on futons. They were very comfortable, and we had full views of Mt. Fuji from our room! The staff was incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed. They even tracked down the local bus for us when it was running a few minutes late and gave us tea and coffee while we waited. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for something a little quieter than the hustle of places near Lake Kawaguchi."

"Good place, clean with neceesary amenities. The wall is thinner so we could hear people in the next room. Having a little difficult with self check in but over all is good. Only 3 minuts walking distance from bus station."

"Very close to Kawaguchiko station. Clean and tidy. Has a microwave, a mini fridge and a kettle with a few options for tea. There are two convenience stores about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and Lake Kawaguchiko is about a 15 minute walk. Staff aren’t present on the property outside of cleaning (I think) which worked okay. We checked in and out by a tablet at the entrance. The bunk bed we had wasn’t super comfortable, but overall the place is definite worth the price. It was unfortunate...

"This is a perfect place to stay if you want to be in close proximity to Mt Fuji station for your travel plans. It is a basic, no frills motel-style accommodation. While somewhat dated, everything was clean, check-in was streamlined, and breakfast/coffee were provided. It is walking distance to the station which is great. For a one night stay in transit, the lodge was perfect. "
