The location is good for walkability. The hotel common areas smell very strongly of deodorizer which is hard to handle. The room was better than expected compared to the rest of the hotel but the bathtub didn’t drain and the room needed a deep cleaning.

The bathroom had mold in the tub and the floor was dirty. The toilet ran all night leaving water around to toilet and rust marks from the trash can. Bed were extremely had and started to itch when we got into be. Check out the following day. It looked like to the two rooms next to our had some work done on the that left an odd smell.

Staff (Carlos) was great! However the property is old and run down. Unfortunately the cost to stay in a below average hotel in downtown Vancouver are all around $400 a night now. Rates I would expect to stay in an above average hotel anywhere else.

A decent stay. Check in and check out process was smooth. They could improve a bit on the housekeeping. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown and there are a lot of cafes and restaurants at a walking distance.
