Nice Hostel.
I don't have much experience with Hostels, but I travel a lot. I have spent some time in some VERY cheap hotels. Benefits of a hostel: -People, in that there are community areas. This one had air hockey and foosball tables, along with a big screen TV and several computers. -This desk was staffed at 7am when I realized I had left my key in my wallet in the locker. A similar issue at a 0-service minihotel in HK where room and hallway were tiny and the door shut when I grabbed my bag 2 steps from the room. No one there and no apparent way to find someone. -Good price. would prefer over 9 Boutique Hotel (HK) but not Mini Hotel (HK) - both cost 2x more. -Good location. Not far from President's house, Main Station, shopping and night market. -8-bed dorms give a bit of security. 3 key points between street and bed. +1 for locker (enough space for 2 carry-on bags plus an extra cubby for wallet/small purse and other pocket stuff. -Well-designed bed "table/shelf" (5"x5"x12" box mounted on wall): 2 lights (incl. a flex-arm reading lamp), a universal power outlet and a USB port so you can charge 2 things at once. Flat top for beverage with a box (for phone, charger brick, lip balm, etc.), so you don't accidentally knock your little things off the top. -towel fee: US$1. Negatives: -The bathrooms are not close to your room or accessible without a key here. If foreign food on the road causes an urgent need, there could be problems. -no elevator/handicap access

The hostel is located in basement! I didn’t now that, when I go into the hostel, everything is dark. No any sun light! Due to no window no sun light, so the room is very dark and smelly. As for the bathroom, feel like no clean and too wet, also because no sun light I think. Won’t stay there anymore.

I arrived around 3 am. I love that I don’t have to wait until morning like many hostels. The room and all the areas are clean. If I visit Taipei in the future, I’ll stay here again.

This place was really interesting! I felt safe since I was in the women dormitory and you need your card to get in. You also get a locker that is card activated. The kitchen was really small. The bathrooms were nice and big. Plenty of stalls and I didn't have to wait in line. The common area was nice and spacious. I also liked that they had 24 hour check in so I didn't need to feel rushed or worried.

Good enough accommodation for budget travellers
An acceptable accommodation in its price range. Pretty good location with 20 min walk from Taipei Station and 5 min walk from Ximen station. The common area is a cozy place to relax with free beverages. Bed is average, locker is big. There are plenty of shower rooms and toilets. Had problem charging my devices with the USB points. No complaints otherwise for the price I was paying. It's a hostel that you can consider if you are on a budget travel.

Pros: Clean. Good location, 10min walk from subway and you can walk to many attractions. Great and honest stuff, they found my wallet after I check out. Cons: not for light sleeper, room with 12 roommates, some people check in late and check out early.

if i note the place is in basement,i probably not book it. it is clear and comment area is comfortable. but i don't understand why a male staff was chatting with the cleaning staff inside the FEMALE dom for whole morning. i felt uncomfortable while i was walking in the corridor after shower. i had to by pass their chatting area.

Nice and clean place to stay
I really like this place. Near to Ximen station and just a short walking distance to Taipei main station ( 24-hour bus service to Taoyuan Airport ). The staff are really friendly and helpful. Will be back.

Convenience Location for budget travellers
Hotel is closed to Taipei Main Station and Ximen Station. The Hostel equiped with refridgerator that we can store some drinks and food. Also with a daily compliemntary coffee which helps us refresh after wake up in the morning. You can enjoy much more when you stay here.

Super clean hostel.....
This is essentially a dormitory style hostel. I was in an 8-bed mixed dorm and it was only about half-filled. The facility is fantastically clean. One of the cleanest I've stayed in while traveling in Asia ove the last 25 years. I wish that the individual beds would have had a small fan as the room temperature was a bit on the warm side and the thermostat was locked. Each bed does have a charging station for your electronics and the WiFI was good. Bathrooms were on the other side of the building, but were well-maintained and the showers had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The only drawback is that it is located in what is primarily a business district and so in the evening there are not many restaurant options and virtually no bars/pubs nearby where you can relax and have a drink. It's an easy walk from the Ximen rail station but a bit of a slog from TPE airport as you have a 40 minute train ride into the city and then you transfer to another rail system. Plan for a minimum of 60-70 minutes getting here from the airport. Staff was very friendly and attentive. There is a large common area that gets a bit noisy at night. Interesting "Space Station" theme. I would stay here again.
