"We stayed for a night and the staff was very friendly. We got early check/in and a complementary late checkout. Please mind that this was off season so they were probably operating under capacity and were able to give us these options. Food was a little pricey but tasted good. Great staff and pool amenities. "

"This hotel was very nice and we felt safe. The check in staff was great. We ordered room service, the food was fine, staff friendly. Breakfast staff could have a little more patience with guest, and not show their obvious dislike of either their jobs or the guest. Very short when observing communication with breakfast goers. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel while in walnut creek."

"Property was great. Love the kitchen in the room. Pool and hot tub were fabulous. Nice to have a balcony. Negative was our room overlooked the back of the Meritage where all the food deliveries go and the dumpsters are. Garbage collection at 0300 was not good for sleep nor was the dropping of large garbage objects at 0100. Overall the resort was fabulous for our 4 day trip to Napa. If I would have known about the location of the room before check in I would have asked for a different room. "

"The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170.
