The staff were great!! The hotel is definitely older and could use some love. But price for value it was on point. It could use a little updating but still an awesome place to stay if you want to be right on the beach, and very close to Santa Monica

Unbeatable location right on the beach. Some reviews complain about the noise, but I stayed Mon-Wed and never had noise issues at all. Room is clean, staff was friendly, too! The room is minimally furnished, but it’s much cleaner and better than Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in for similar price in similar location.

It was right on the beach! No need for paid parking because you could walk right to it and there was a nice restaurant for drinks and food behind it!

The property was great! It was just what we needed for a 3 day stay. Venice is not our scene but the property was worth it.

Location excellent. View looking up the coast from smallish window out the side of the building. Overnight parking in area expensive $60 US a night. They rip off tourists. Bargained him down to _$30. Still took accommodation's recommendation of $20 a night a short walk (2 blocks way) and more secure.

The location is prime! Wife and I loved the location right on Venice beach. Area was quiet. Staff was helpful and polite. They really helped us save money on parking our vehicle and saving some money.

H e pagado 300 dols por algo que, realmente, vale 100 y por la vista, no mas de 150. No tiene estacionamiento, el edificio es viejo, está refaccionado pero con materiales de baja calidad. La habitación es bien humilde. No tiene mas q una mesa de luz. No hay maquina de hielo. El día que nos fuimos llovía de una manera impresionante, solicitamos un paraguas y no había. Paraguas que vale 10 dolares y pagamos por una habitación 300. Lo mismo que en Manhattan. La respuesta del empleado del lobby fue : "es mi primer día". Realmente para no volver.

Great location, unfortunately I was given a ground floor room. This room was incredibly loud and didn’t allow for much sleep. Also blinds in room need to be upgraded at actually filter out the light

Great views from ocean front rooms about 1/2 way between Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach Pier. Step right out the door to be in the middle of everything. Note that you can hear music from bars and people on Ocean Walk so if that will bother you, don’t get ocean front room.

Extremely bare bones room accommodations with no cleaning service (had to sweep own floor). Very friendly & helpful staff and awesome location which made up for the lack of amenities.

The people that run the front desk are kind and hospitable. The rooms have amazing views and the location is right by everything. Affordable and yet worth more than what we paid.

What people need to understand is that this hotel is right next door to a very popular club. On the Saturday I stayed, I had a room on the north side that faced this club. There were probably 300 people there from 2pm - 10pm and the music was incredibly loud. The hotel provides complementary earplugs, but they basically do nothing when the parties are at their peak. On Wednesday night, the club hosted a skateboard party with actual roman candles in the parking lot. The music was absolutely cranked and they were doing raffles, promos etc. Did I mention this club area is outdoors? So nothing to trap the noise.

While this means that you can always find something fun to do in Venice, it also entails a certain level of noise. Spacious room and comfy bed. Loved my sliver view of the beach and big windows. The brick was a really nice touch to the room. Loved the coffee in the morning and cool to have a big fridge and microwave in my room. Super deal for the $
