Unexpected hole in the wall type of property. One wouldn’t expect that it looks the way it does inside based on its exterior. Very modern, clean, and elegant inside. Outstanding interiors. The Double Room is decent size. Bathroom and shower area is larger than most of the hotels/airbnbs we’ve stayed at in Japan. Love the long bench on one side of the wall, convenient for luggage placement. Has a Family Mart a few steps away and multiple dining options around including an amazing sushi place across the street. Hotel also has umbrellas available for guests to borrow in case of rain. Overall a great stay! Would definitely stay here again.

A very quaint, cozy and comfortable place to stay. Sharing the very clean kitchen area with other people is a great idea. Their library/bookstore is classy and ingenious. Their night activities fantastic!

This was a great place. Price verses quality was unmatched. The staff were amazing, all the perks were great. Anyone staying for multiple nights i would recommend. Great location!

Liked the library and shared areas. The rooms could do with tea / coffee making within the room and drinkable water rather than having to go downstairs. Lovely helpful staff.

I enjoyed my stay at this property. Staff were friendly, place was clean and new, location was very walkable to Kyoto Station. There was a Nakau steps away. Definitely will stay again!

Staff is very professional and helpful. Hotel stands out from others with its artistic layout and architecture. Has a projector screen that plays short films every night. Room is clean.

The room's where clean, the staff professional, courteous and friendly. Nearly dining was superb with a huge choice of styles. The site's that I visited were all an easy and cheap bus ride away.

"Coup de coeur"...
Party of three adults stayed for 3 nights in June. Hotel is an easy walk to Japan Rail and local subway stations. The neighborhood offers plenty of restaurant alternatives on the street or at the nearby train station and mall. Room was very nice and offered enough space for 3 adults with backpacks. The common areas are outstanding (library, lounge, full kitchen, and laundry). We took advantage of the kitchen each morning and some lunches as an alternative to eating out as a nearby grocery store (in the train station) offer many take-home meals that could be heated. Absolute “coup de Coeur” of the trip.

There are some spots on the counter which has the sink near the floor where the metal was already separating from the wall, on both sides (see area next to the chairs)

Stayed with my friend in the bunked room. Was amazing, staff were super helpful, room was clean. Room comes with free shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Towels were included. Gin bar was also amazing! Great location!
