The staff here was very friendly and pleasant. Check in and check out was very quick and easy. The room was very affordable and get a great value for the price. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I struggle with back and neck pain so this was an important factor for me. We choose this location because of how close it was to Pennstate Hershey medical center it's like a 5 minute drive. The room was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. I liked they had a full bathtub there so I was able to take a bath. I would recommend this place whether it's a couples or family getaway. Hershey park is not too far from this property

It is across the road from the hospital. I live 4 hours away. We stay at a hotel when I have early day appointments or procedures. We stayed here 10 yrs ago. They've updated room a bit. Nothing fancy but clean and nice

Stayed 1 night as we were heading to a concert at the stadium. The location/drive to and from was very convenient with a quick drive. The staff were friendly. The room was pretty clean for the most part. But the baseboards were really dirty, and there were a bunch of cobwebs in the corners. Definitely looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. Overall was nice for a quick overnight stay.

We liked the parking under the hotel to stay out of the rain/sun. Very close to Smoky Tavern, which had an excellent bbq. Also close to a nice walking trail. Nice overnight hotel when visiting Hershey World. Staff went above and beyond to help us with all our requests. Very good hotel for the price.

The Escape Inn was a decent place to stay during my night there. Parking was easy, check in was simple and the rooms were very clean and tidy. For the price, it was a good value and would recommend it to others.

Upon first arrival, we were nervous. Lobby definitely doesn’t look like picture. The setup is unique and with a rainy, gloomy day, it didn’t look inviting; The desk clerk had stepped away, so We had to wait - Very different from any other kind of hotel/motel I’ve ever stayed. But, from the reviews, we knew it was “no frills”. Location was excellent and once the clerk arrived, she was reassuring. The narrow walkway to the room was cracked, chipped & uneven - with the rain it made it slippery. Once we got to the room, it was very well appointed, clean, nice TV, pretty comfortable beds, excellent shower and pressure - A bit more than “no-frills”. However, the allowable access for anyone to come wandering by and up the back stairs is disconcerting; I did not note cameras anywhere: Definitely want to stay on your toes and make sure your room is secured. If you are a light sleeper in anyway, it’s not the place for you. We could hear all activity in the next room: when they came and went - including 3 AM return - when they used the bathroom, hung up coats, talked on the phone, etc… Overall, it was a nicer place than our first impression, but it would not be my first pick if I returned to the area . The restaurant next door was fantastic though!!

Always have a great stay when visiting. Stayed two nights April 2024 and had a good stay. Rooms were decently clean, comfortable beds, clean bathroom/shower. Front desk was very polite and informative of attractions in the area. We will def be coming back.

It’s a two-story motel on “stilts” over the parking lot. The room was clean and comfortable and recently remodeled. The woman at the check in desk was extremely friendly and helped with restaurant recommendations.

Outdated.. parking area unkept... one elevator for access to all rooms. Stairwells unlit with slippery metal stairs. Rooms outdated except for the sink but it drains very slow. Tv outdated with limited channels. Tv picture quality horrible. Beds ... dont get me started. Even the bed bugs would not stay in these beds. Hard board under the old worn out mattresses. Not pet friendly like listed.

The staff on Friday night was very nice. She was helpful. The room was dirty. There was hair on the toilet and in tub. Dust around the fridge and the tissue box had toothpaste or soap splatter all over it. Also, the wall must have need repaired and they didn’t bother to repaint just left it a different color. At 11:30 pm there was a man screaming profanity for over 15 minutes. It sounded like he was in our room the walls were so thin The man when we left didn’t even ask how are stay was. This was our first and last time there. Paid way too much for that place.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I needed a cheap place to sleep last minute for the weekend and I was not disappointed! The sheets and towels were clean without any stains. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean without bad odors. I appreciate any hotel without carpeting! The receptionist was very kind and sociable. I am from NYC so the thin walls and noise didn’t bother me. FYI this hotel is across the street from a hospital. Also, you can hear the people above you and outside your window. This hotel is not luxurious by any means but it’s the perfect affordable spacious bed and bath! I’d definitely spend another weekend here if I needed to. Thanks!

The Escape Inn was a great property close to all of the Hershey attractions. Pros include: nice room for the price, check in staff was friendly and very quiet area Cons: Sort of a sketchy area, cleanliness could be improved, and the heater/cooler sounded like a lawn mower when we turned it on. Overall, I’d book again if needed!

I was very hesitant to book here. After reading the reviews and looking at the pictures, I decided to gice it a shot. For the money, is it AWESOME. The room was just like the rooms at a Hampton Inn. The priperty is nothing special, bit for the price BOOK IT. My Husband and I stayed 2 nights. The restaurant, Smoked, is right across the street and has AMAZING BBQ. Get the Brussel Sprouts!!
