Don’t book here unless you have your own transport. I didn’t realise the nearest bus station was 3km away, which is technically walking distance but with two small kids, it was horrible and took up to 60 minutes to walk. The property was slightly dated with only one working pool. Breakfast was expensive with limited options. Probably wouldn’t ever come back but it wasn’t terrible

Great location with shops just up the road. View was excellent. Shower had awesome water pressure and the beds were comfy!

Love this quiet hotel in Hope Island area..its very convenient to other attractions and shopping...the rooms are larger and clean with great marina or pool views..the food is very good value and generous and the staff are very friendly and helpful :)

Our room was very uncomfortable, the room had a very bad smell , dirty poorly cleaned and the reception was not available half the time. There was a vomit stain that was not cleaned. Very poor service.

It was in a nice location, rooms were clean and beds were comfy with nice linens and amenities. Great price. However reception is only open 2-8pm and no answering machine for a call back which made it hard to get in touch with someone by phone to confirm booking and ask questions etc. Corridor floors need a good vacuum, outdoor tile areas and undercover pathways need a good pressure wash, bathrooms need a bit of paint and shower seals need to have mould removed. Owner was rude at times which was unacceptable and unnecessary. Other staff were lovely and good communicators.

The staff were great and helpful. However getting to the room was like a maze, which included having to go down a small flight of stairs, which wouldn’t be an issue except I was travelling with someone who has a disability and stairs are extremely difficult for them. Spa was not working and the shower head was busted. Dropped a piece of paper that went under the bed and when I laid down to pick it up, there was skittles, a toilet roll and other rubbish under bed, which shows the cleaners do not vacuum under there.

Not the worst place I’ve stayed, But def needs some improvements. 4 guests to a room. Only provided 2 towels. No bowls to give my children breakfast in. Lots of wear and tear in the room. However the bed was comfortable. Reception staff not overly pleasant.

Location was very good and accessible for our needs. When we checked into our room there were no towels, floor towels or soap. Our 2 children moved a bedside table to find a power point and in doing so came across 2 used condoms. Absolutely disgusted. I spoke with reception and showed them a picture to which they said they would someone up to clean the room and provide all linen. We proceeded to have to ask 4 times before someone came to the room. No apology was given and it seemed to be extremely inconvenient for the lady at reception to also cleaned our room and was also working in the restaurant. Extremely under staffed. Disappointing and will not return.

Although marina view booked, the communal pool was directly outside our ground floor room! Comfortable Bed & linen clean. Luckily we were picked up for evening meal as hotel was limited! Bar was Ok

First room key was a dud. Second room had lights, but fridge, tv,etc,didn’t work, but found out they didn’t work till too late at night. Rang the next day to get it sorted before I got back, but wasn’t so had to search for someone to fix it….

It's a budget hotel with a great view into marina harbour. The place was designed well. However the maintenance was not keeping up with the deteriorating interior. I helped repair two door lights with my skills. If properly managed, I reckon it should've been one of the best hotel in the location.

What can I start with … arrived with a young man taking our check in. I couldn’t understand what he was saying not for language but for mumbling. He then proceeded to ask if we wanted down stairs or upstairs with a view. I had booked with a view in the first place. Lifts are not working. No assistance to help with baggage Was given the one card access with a code for parking. $5 dollar breakfast was not explained what that consisted of and I never really wanted to find out since everything else was pretty ordinary. Room was very very hot and muggy room. Quick glimpse it was tidy First thing I went to do is put the air con on. It didn’t work: open the lid to find years worth of dust on the filters which was very clear to see it is not maintianed very well. After filters cleaned went out for dinner hoping for cooler room. Thankfully I fixed the problem. none of the lights work properly and they don’t match which extra lights installed in interesting places. Some of them worked and others flicked. The bathroom well that is interesting not cleaned very well. Black hair in shower Tiles broken and cracked nail sticking out which has been bent over. Kicked it multiple times since in front of the toilet No internet was working The place is very outdated there is so much that needs to be sorted. Checking out was no one insight. The lady at the restaurant was lovely it’s hard when everything is very average. The lady behind the desk not very helpful and very rude at times
