Was checked in to an occupied room! Front desk was kind but made an excuse that it just had not been cleaned. My new room had the chain pull over the door when I tried to enter. The guest inside screamed at me for trying to enter. After getting two occupied rooms, I was offered two cocktails which I was to order and pay for, then they would remove from my bill. I did. They did not! I emailed the manager afterward to fix it. No reply.
This property, however convenient to Weston, FL area, is extremely rundown and surely needs the grounds, elevators (not working) and rooms are moldy.
I would not recommend unless they seriously invest in the property.

Place is ran down and needs a major renovation. I was only there for 1 night and it was okay for the occasion but I won’t be back. The TV was from 2004 with no HD!!!
Property looks great in photos but disappointing in person. It could use a deep clean and pressure washing. It looks like it was a beautiful property in the 80s but needs cleaned and refreshed. Room was large but dingy. Shower track filthy. Room could have used a good deep clean.
This place was so filthy. The front office was the cleanest part of this property. The rest of the property of nasty it was a mess. Obviously they do not clean. There were leaves on the floor everywhere. The elevator was very dirty and took forever to open. When we entered the bedroom, it smelled like mold, the carpet had spots for days and the bed looked bumpy with spots on the sheets. The bathroom Obviously was not cleaned from the previous visitor, it was dirty. Very dirty. I would not recommend to not even the homeless.
Room was very dirty not a deluxe room locks on patio doors didn’t work so your door was unlocked all night not a good feeling so you can’t get a good night rest will never stay there again

I like the location,but the first room ceiling was full of molded,but they put me in another room and it was much better. The bath tub was not clean. All of the seals is coming loose need to be recalked in the shower

I enjoyed my stay my room was n the corner with no light they need to clean the building a lot of cobwebs around the building
Decent for the price. Very dated, 2000s. The tv was old and didn’t work well. The phone was old and didn’t work. There were no USB outlets in the room. For the price though, it was clean and doable. I would not stay there again though.
I was very disappointed with how dirty the carpets were in the rooms, the refrigerator was dirty, the room smelled like mildew, poor parking conditions, furniture was stained, sofa was broken and the tvs barely got channels come through clearly.
Very clean, fast check in & THAY still have carpet which is a plus for me😍

Room was very spacious, clean, nice amenities. Old TV, carpet needs replacing, very spacious bathroom. Noisy outside of room in corridor. Pool old but inviting, hot tub not hot. Bat and restaurant elegant.
It’s definitely outdated on the outside, but inside it’s clean and does the job. The issue was when we got in our room our door didn’t work, we went to the front desk and they sent someone to reprogram the lock. The man came said he would return and never returned. We had to have one person in the room at all times so they could open the door. The AC also got stuck and the room was 59°. We stayed for one night and it gets the job done but for an extended stay, I probably wouldn’t recommend.
Not so great, door lock didn't work, the room had a bad smell and lousy TV picture. Had to move to another room because they never did fix the door lock. That room was better and I'll give the staff credit for being helpful but I lost several hours I desperately needed to get work done. Multiple reviews mentioned the need for the property to renovate and yes, absolutely is necessary. I only chose because of location and not returning this week even though it's so close to where I'm working.
The elevator closest to my room was broken. My room key didn’t work, so I had to call the front desk and wait for security to let me in my room. I was never given another room key or room was just told it needs to be reset. Highly disappointed that I paid for this experience.

This was good for one night pre-cruise. The rooms were pretty old and one of the elevators was not working. The ice machine on 3 rd floor did not work. The push button for handicap opening door to main restaurant/lobby did not work. The mini fridge was removed from the room for some reason.
PROS: beautiful lobby/restaurant/bar and pool area. The food was very good and normal resort prices not too crazy. Tip for breakfast is to order from the menu instead of getting the buffet. We got a hot fresh made egg sandwich with meat and potatoes for $8.
At first glance, the property is really pretty. But when you look closer, it looks like it has not been attended to in a while. The concrete is cracked, there is Sitting water in several places.
I have stayed in Bonaventure twice before about 5 years ago and the service and hotel was great. This time around it was horrible. The elevator and ice maker did not work. There was trash left outside the rooms when I checked in and it was left there when I checked out. I called before I booked the room to make sure the rooms had microwave and a refrigerator and when I checked into the room there was not one. I called the front desk to asked why, they advised me the room did not come with one. I advised the service desk I had insulin and they suggested for me to go and get a cooler. I asked the service desk did they have a microwave in the lobby I can use and they replied no due to health reasons. The hotel only gave one wash towel in the room and when I went to the service desk to get another one they told me there were out. So I had to go to Walmart and purchased some. The TV was so out dated and the analog connect was bad. Every channel was fuzzy. The internet did not work. No one came to service the rooms for the time we were there. This was a very bad experience and I paid for 2 rooms 4 night and could not get a refund to go to another hotel. I will not stay at this hotel ever again!!!

It’s old and dated. My room, although large, did not have a working tv in the living room and the bedroom tv was grainy. The internet only worked once during my stay. There were these small bugs in the bathroom on the sink as well as fruit flies in the room. The bed was semi comfortable but pillows too small for the bed. Overall it was ok and I may stay again if they have something more up to date.
this could be a very beautiful place but for some reason the maintenance being forgotten. Things are falling apart. the pool is dirty,and cold. Hot tub is not heated, as cold as the pool. The grounds are not groomed and left to be overgrown and dirty. The rooms need a complete clean up. Kitchen have no utensils, silverware, plats or glasses. Can't believe how this place has declined.
Absolutely horrid! Lobby and main pool are nice. Room looked like a roadside motel. Rust and chipped paint everywhere. Dead bugs. Front desk people not friendly.
