"Nice city view and excellent location to everything. Friendly staff and great service. It’s more on the expensive high end hotel."

"Our room was very spacious with an excellent view over the city. The large bath tub was also a treat though the other facilities were a little dated. We also loved the dining room which played a tourist video of the city's activities. However, the breakfast was not of 4 star standard. Some items were not replenished, the coffee machine not regularularly serviced and some hot items were cold and healthy breads not available. More attention to detail is needed."

Laundry room is very useful (bring your own detergent), but the instructions are a little confusing since Google Translate can’t decipher some of the overused buttons. "Very nice hotel. It may be 30 years old, the room was very nice and does not feel old. The hot spring soak tub in the room was wonderful. The buffet for dinner was ok. Enough choices of decent food. All staff were friendly and helpful. The property is on a steep hill so it isn’t as easy to walk down and up. But the hotel has shuttle to local attractions as well as the train station."
